Tell your healthcare provider immediately if you (or your kid): might not be viewing as well as prior to beginning SABRIL; start to trip, encounter things, or are more awkward than usual how to pronounce vigabatrin; are shocked by things or people coming in front of you that appear to come out of no place; or if your child is acting in different ways than typical.

The Vigabatrin REMS Program is required by the FDA to ensure informed risk-benefit choices prior to starting treatment, and to ensure proper use vigabatrin while people are treated. It is not possible for your doctor to know when vision loss will certainly occur.


It is recommended that your healthcare provider examination your (or your child's) vision before or within 4 weeks after beginning SABRIL and a minimum of every 3 months throughout therapy up until SABRIL is quit. If you or your child have any type of side result that troubles you or that does not go away, tell your health care company.

If seizures get worse, tell your health care provider right away. If you need to take SABRIL while you are expectant, you and your healthcare supplier will have to choose. One of the most common negative effects of SABRIL in adults include: blurred vision, sleepiness, wooziness, issues walking or really feeling uncoordinated, trembling (trembling), and tiredness.
