In 1999, the band released Mindfields and begins an extensive tour across the globe. After a few months in Europe they come to Japan where the shows are sold out. After a brief break, Toto resumes their recording and releases their first live album entitled Absolutely Live in 1993. It also features a cover of Weezer’s song Hash Pipe as a response to the band's coverage of Africa on their recent tour.
