MeteorCity soon signed numerous musicians and bands from the Palm Desert Scene, Vape Shop together with Hermano, Unida and rising Swedish stoner rock bands similar to Lowrider, Dozer and The Mushroom River Band. Music for Vape Wholesale Stoners, Vape Store which incorporates lots of the aforementioned bands, as well as a track by Josh Homme's new band Queens of the Stone Age. The sound has been continued on by directly descendant bands Unida, Slo Burn, Hermano, Mondo Generator, Fu Manchu, Brant Bjork and the Bros, and at instances by Queens of the Stone Age, who've since largely departed from Kyuss' stoner rock sound, vape shop and reject the label, preferring the term "desert rock".
