June 30 (Reuters) - The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is extending the application deadline for a program aimed at keeping power plants open by two months, it announced on Thursday, days after California's biggest power utility asked for more time.

"Homecoming" tells the story of Paris nanny Khedidja, played by Diallo Sagna, who travels to Corsica for work with her teenage daughters Jessica and Farah - portrayed by Suzy Bemba and Esther Gohourou. The family is returning to the island they left 15 years prior under tragic circumstances.

'I'm just trying to find the right tools and toys and make a fun movie. I sat down with her at a coffee shop in Beverly Hills, and it was very funny because [of] how recognized she is in a world I don't necessarily inhabit. 

She said: 'Well, it was a different world and hindsight is what college professors get paid for. But my feeling is that Debra Hill [the movie's late producer] was a feminist and that Laurie Strode is a feminist hero'.
