The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single to double stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be configured into a triple-travel system with the addition of a bench or infant car seat. It has 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It features an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar and comes with an abdominal bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2 and is lighter, too.
It comes with a sunshade of medium size and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping bar is one of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of any height. The seats recline, and there is a footwell adjuster to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of room, but we would have preferred a more secure latch. It's easy to access but we found the zippers to be a little frustrating since they have to be removed completely and reattached every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are easy to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame's side, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is an improvement over the toe-pinch lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or parents with a single child and a baby due. It is compatible with the majority of major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it on Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models as well as the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great option for families who already own a car seat, but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you might be better served with another convertible stroller for this scenario.
